Request, Install & Use Jabber info for Cisco VoIP Links provided below are for requesting a license, installing, configuring and using Jabber. It also includes a link for troubleshooting Jabber. Install the Jabber Software; Windows. For Windows, double click the downloaded CiscoJabber.ZIP file and double click on the Setup file to start the installation. Click “Yes” to accept and install the software. Once complete, the Cisco Jabber Software will start.

2. When the installer opens, click Accept and Install.
3. When the install is completed click Finish. Jabber will open automatically.
4. You may be prompted up to eight times to respond to a certificate error like the one below. Click the Accept button for each prompt until Jabber opens.
5. Login with the same username and password you use for logging into your computer at work.
6. Verify that your picture or initials show up in the upper left hand side of the Jabber window.
7. Close Jabber and respond appropriately in the checklist.

- If you are having trouble with hearing people, or with people hearing you, either click on the icon with your picture or initials, or the gear logo and select Settings and then select Audio. Make sure the speaker and Microphone settings are using the correct devices and the audio levels are set appropriately.
